Greenisia's AI plant doctor can identify a plant and diagnose common problems from a single photo — then give you a clear, step-by-step treatment plan.
Before you scan
For the most accurate result:
- Photograph a single, in-focus leaf or the whole plant in good light.
- Avoid harsh shadows and very dark shots.
- Include the affected area if you suspect a problem (spots, curling, discoloration).
How to diagnose
- From the Scan tab, choose Identify plant or Diagnose disease.
- Upload or drop a photo.
- Greenisia returns the species (or a likely match), any detected issue, and a severity rating within a few seconds.
Reading the result
- Identification — the species and basic care needs.
- Issue — the detected disease or stressor, if any.
- Severity — low, moderate, or high.
- Treatment — concrete next steps, e.g. prune affected leaves, adjust watering, or isolate the plant.
AI diagnosis is a helpful guide, not a guarantee. For valuable or fragile plants, confirm with a specialist before major interventions.
Save the diagnosis
You can attach a diagnosis to a plant in your garden so the treatment plan and reminders stay with that plant's history. See Reminders & care plans for how care tasks are scheduled.
