Greenisia is your AI-powered garden companion. This guide takes you from a fresh account to your first plant with a care plan in under five minutes.
TL;DR — Sign up → create a garden → add a plant → snap or describe it → get a care plan. Greenisia handles the remembering from there.
What you'll need
- A free Greenisia account — sign up here with your email.
- Optionally, a photo of a plant you want to identify or diagnose.
Step 1: Create your account
Sign up at greenisia.com. Free accounts include the core features — garden tracking, AI diagnosis, and reminders — so you can try everything before upgrading.
Step 2: Create a garden
A garden is a container for your plants. It can be anything: a windowsill, a balcony, a backyard, or a full allotment.
- From your dashboard, choose New garden.
- Give it a name (for example, "Living room" or "Balcony herbs").
- Pick a type and, optionally, a location — Greenisia uses location for local weather and seasonal suggestions.
Step 3: Add your first plant
- Open your garden and select Add plant.
- Search the plant database, or let Greenisia suggest what suits your space.
- Save the plant to your garden.
Step 4: Get a care plan
Once a plant is added, Greenisia generates a tailored care plan — watering frequency, light needs, and seasonal notes — based on the species and your local conditions. See Diagnosing plants to learn how to spot problems early.
